Our 18th century farmhouse is situated in a beautiful rural area 2.5 miles southwest of Edinburgh city boundary......(10 miles from the city centre itself) and just off the A70 road to Lanark. We produce renowned Scotch beef from our herd of suckler cows.
From Haughhead, you are close to all main routes, the airport and Heriot Watt University. Also, a good centre for walking in the Pentland Hills, visiting Malleny Garden, the Falkirk Wheel, New Lanark Mill Heritage Centre or even Stirling or Glasgow.
Enjoy the peace and unwind after your journey or take advantage of the excellent bus service from Balerno into the city centre and all that there is to see and do there.
