    Hawthorn Cottage is situated at West Drip Farm a family run farm, on the Carse of Stirling. Sleeping 6 & suitable for disabled this charming cottage offers stunning views, great road links for touring & is the perfect peaceful holiday base.

    Hawthorn Cottage enjoys a quiet and peaceful location with panoramic views over farmland towards the National Wallace Monument, Ochil and Gargunnock Hills.  Hawthorn Cottage is a purpose built holiday home which is always maintained to the highest possible standard, comfortably sleeps six people plus a baby and is suitable for the disabled.

    Hawthorn Cottage has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area with French doors opening onto the patio and garden. It has three bedrooms (1 double, 2 twin) the master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there is a main bathroom. The cottage has a private garden with children's swing, plenty of parking and farm walks to enjoy. 

    The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge with freezer compartment.  There is a tumble drier and more freezer space available at the farm.  Living area has a large flat sceen TV with DVD, an ipod docking station, a selection of books, games, DVD's and tourist information and maps.  All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, hairdriers, beds are freshly made up with cotten linen and extra blankets are available for the chilly Scottish winter nights!

    All prices include electricity, heating, linen, towels and Wi-Fi.

    Hawthorn Cottage is situated 3 miles north of Stirling and one mile from the M9 allowing you all the benefits of a rural setting but with excellent transport links north and south. Blairdrummond Safari Park is just a short run along the A84 as is the road to Scotland's first National Park, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. We are 50 minutes drive from Scotland's capital city Edinburgh and its largest city Glasgow.

    From the nearest information centre:- From Stirling Tourist Information Centre, head North, follow signs for A84 north (signed for Callander). Once on A84 (after crossing two roundabouts) West Drip is then third road off to the left.

    Getting there by railway:- From Stirling Railway Station, head North, follow signs for A84 north (signed for Callander). Once on A84 (after crossing two roundabouts) West Drip is then third road off to the left.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow - On to M8 then M9 signed for Stirling. Leave M9 at exit 10 on A84 north, cross bridge. West Drip is then third road off to left (about 3/4 mile from M9).

    From Edinburgh - Follow signs for M9 and Stirling. Leave M9 at Exit 10. Go on to A84 north, cross bridge. West Drip is then 3rd road on left. Come straight down to Farmhouse.
