Hazelbank is a converted Victorian Townhouse with ten bedrooms, four of which offer stunning views over St Andrews Bay.
Hazelbank Hotel was created in 1898 from a Victorian Townhouse and today has 10 bedrooms, 4 of which have stunning views accross St Andrews Bay to the Angus Hills and coast. The owners of the last 26 years - the Henretty Family, who offer a warm welcome and personal attention, have upgraded the accommodation adding well equipped bathrooms for each room and have maintained the original Victorian features of the building, such as the elaborate cornicing and staircase. Most bedrooms are equipped with zip link beds so that guests may choose 2 individual beds or one large bed. One such room is situated on the ground floor which is ideal for those who may find stairs difficult. Sofa Beds to provide triple or Family accommodation are available in 2 rooms.
Hazelbank Hotel is situated only 200 yards from the first Tee on the Old Course and from the Royal and Ancient Golf Club Clubhouse. We are a mere 10 minute walk from St Andrews Links New Golf Course and Jubilee Golf Course and the free St Andrews Links shuttle buses to Eden and Strathtyrum courses stop outside Hazelbank. Visitors to St Andrews University will find we are only 200 yards from St Andrews University Library and St Andrews University Arts Faculty building and only 100 yards from St Andrews University Admissions office. St Salvators chapel and St Andrews University Quad and Upper and Lower College halls are less than a 5 minute walk. Both the Beach and St Andrews Town Centre are likewise only 5 minutes walk as is the St Andrews Bus Station. Hazelbank is situated directly on the Fife Coastal path and great walks towards the Forth or Tay bridges may be commenced from outside the front door. We welcome cyclists and offer overnight storage for cycles in our enclosed rear garden. The cycle route passes our door.
Hazelbank is a recipient of a number Old Course tee times each summer and are one of the pioneers of St Andrews Links Winter Golf packages. As such we can help organise your golf both summer and winter and the number of individuals and groups who return year after year are testament to our care and experience in golfers acommodation. We are happy to provide advice and assistance with transfers to and from Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport and Aberdeen Airport.
