M8 from Glasgow past Glasgow airport. Head for Irvine on A737. At roadhead roundabount take 3rd exit to Lochwinnoch. Carry on this road towards Kilbirnie. You will see sign posts for Largs. Take the A760 towards Largs. Admire the view as you come down the Haylie Brae. When you reach the traffic lights turn right into Irvine Road the A78. Heather House is on your right just past the Esso filling station.
