    Road Directions

    From the South

    Take the A9 north from Inverness and cross the Dornoch Firth, turn left onto the A949 to Bonar Bridge.  At Bonar Bridge take the A836 to Lairg. We are 600m from Lairg railway station

    From the North

    If you are taking the A863 from Tongue or the A838 from Laxford Bridge, these directions will apply.  On entering the village of Lairg you will pass a Spar shop stay on the A836 and go passed the Loch on your right hand side and we are 1 mile along this road.

    From the East

    If you are travelling on the A839 towards Lairg you will enter the village and pass down Main Street until you see the Loch.  At this T - junction you should turn left onto the A836 and stay on this road for 1 mile and we are on your right.


    By Train, Turn left out of Lairg railway Station and we are 600m on the left.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- From Lairg tourist centre cross the loch via road bridge, turn right A836 Bonar Bridge, we are 1 mile along this road on the right hand side.

    Getting there by railway:- We are approximately 1/4 mile north of the train station at Lairg.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness airport join the A96 Inverness until you meet the A9 northbound,turning off at the B9176, then join the A836 to Ardgay, Bonar Bridge and onto Lairg.
