Accessed via electronic gates and set within an acre of wooded garden grounds. Highpoint is situated at the heart of the village of Peterculter - a prestigious residential area seven miles from Aberdeen city centre at the gateway to Royal Deeside. Highpoint has its own dedicated parking space within our purpose built car park. The property is accessed via it's own charming private garden, which is fully enclosed and child friendly and benefits from a barbeque and decking area to relax on. It also incorporates a large lifestyle cabin which can be set up as per guests requirements, for example as children's playhouse or a secure storage area for golf clubs, bicycles, fishing equipment, etc.
Highpoint has been purpose built and benefits from all the advantages of modern construction with well insulated walls, roofs and floors, double glazing and full central heating, ensuring you have a very comfortable stay. A complimentary welcome basket of local produce and basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid and cleaning products are provided.
Highpoint can sleep four adults plus an infant or child under eight in a cot or z bed. There is also a facility to access an extra bedroom and ensuite to enable quality accommodation for up to six adults.
The bright spacious living / dining room is equipped with leather sofas, large dining table to seat 6, Sky TV, DVD, Ipod docking station, CD player and contemporary electric fire. It has patio doors which open out onto the private garden.
The modern kitchen is tastefully decorated and equipped with fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob and everything for even the most discerning chef.
Next to the kitchen are two spacious twin bedrooms which can be made up as super king size beds if required. Both have built in wardrobes and there is room for a cot which is provided at no extra cost. The luxury fully tiled bathroom with power shower is adjoining.
A highchair can be provided at no extra cost plus a double or single buggy is available for use.
There is a playhouse in the garden of the property equipped with a wide range of toys to suit children of all ages, which is ideal for rainy days.
The services of an experienced qualified babysitter can be arranged, for an additional cost, so guests can take advantage of the excellent restaurants that the village has to offer within walking distance.
Peterculter has a wide range of amenities including a sports centre, Marks & Spencer Simply Food, Delicatessens, hairdressers, beauticians and excellent take-away restaurants.
There is a bus stop at the bottom of the driveway which will take you into Aberdeen City in approximately 15 minutes, so you can sample the fabulous shops, bars, theatres, museums and restaurants the Granite City has to offer.
Heading west from Highpoint, Drum and Crathes Castles are a short trip, and Storybook Glen a real favourite with children is a five minute drive away. There are several golf courses in the local area and the river Dee which has excellent fishing available is less than a mile away.
