Situated just one and a half miles from the centre of Ullapool, Highveld sits in its own grounds with stunning views of Loch Broom and the mountains beyond.
Highveld is a cosy, comfortable, well appointed cottage with two bedrooms, sitting / dining room, kitchen and bathroom, all at ground floor level. There is a small, south facing terrace which overlooks the loch and mountains. Situated in an elevated position above Ullapool, Highveld is in a very quiet, peaceful location at Braes. The garden surrounds the house and offers fantastic views of the loch and mountains
Ullapool is a picturesque fishing village on the North West coast of the Scottish Highlands. It is just one hours drive from Inverness where the airport, coach and rail station offer excellent links to all parts of the UK.
The centre of Ullapool is just one and a half miles away with its many shops and amenities. Just a short stroll from the house is Ullapool Hill which offers a fine selection of walks to suit all abilities. Ullapool has plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes offering some of the finest seafood and Scottish fare available. And many of them feature traditional live music in the Summer months. There is a swimming pool, leisure centre, golf course, museum, supermarkets, butcher, fresh fish sellers, a pottery, bookshops, gift shops, post office, boat trips, theatre"..."...and much more. For scenery, mountains and lochs, fishing, walking, sunsets, wildlife, birds, history, geology, genology, golf, sailing, kayaking, boat trips and beaches, Ullapool is hard to beat.
The cottage is suitable for up to 4 people and everything is provided for your comfort. Lets are weekly, Saturday to Saturday, although short breaks may be possible in low season. The house is strictly non smoking. Well behaved dogs are welcome but please talk to us first if you would like to bring your dog with you.
All linen and towels are included in the price.We also provide plenty of logs and coal for the multi fuel stove in the sitting room. Electricity is charged at £15 per week.
