Getting there by railway:- From Bathgate Station a taxi costs approximately £2.50. If walking; turn right out of station, turn first left onto Academy Street. When you reach junction (Mid Street) cross over to continue on Academy Street, turn left onto Marjorie Bank Street, then immediately right onto Balbardie Road. Turn right at the T junction onto Drumcross Road, climb a steep hill and second on the left you'll find The Green. Number 35 is last on left-hand side before continuing round The Green.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport head for the M8 motorway towards Glasgow. Bathgate is 13 miles from the airport just off the M8 at junction 3a. On entering Bathgate with the fire station to the left, travel 1 mile to roundabout. Take third opening off. Travel 1.5 miles to T junction, turn right onto Drumcross Road. Travel uphill for 0.50 miles. Take fourth opening on the left. Hillview Bed and Breakfast is on left-hand side number 35. No Credit or Debit card accepted.
