Overview

....a luxury three bedroom cottage built in a rural elevated position overlooking the stunning Inganess Bay with its silvery sand & shipwreck a great area for wildlife birds flowers & walking.

Although situated in a rural area Inganess Lodge is close to all amenities & is only 0.5miles from the Kirkwall town boundary and 1.8miles from the town centre where you can find the Earls Palace, Bishops Palace & the famous St Magnus Cathedral.

Surrounded by farmland the dry stone dykes have been restored adding traditional Orcadian character which is also a feature of the stone built frontage of the house. Access is gained through a private driveway with a spacious turning & parking area to the east side of the house.

Finished to an extremely high standard the property has oil fired central heating & oak floors throughout.
The large homely living area has a beautiful solid oak kitchen with top of the range built in appliances.
A large dining table & six chairs is situated opposite the French doors that open onto a furnished patio where you can spend time with family & friends watching the sunrise over Inganess Bay.
The corner sofa & separate chairs offer a place to relax & take in the beautiful views from the living area.

After a busy day sight seeing why not relax in our luxurious bathroom with its double ended whirlpool bath, & separate shower. Luxuries such as a heated tiled floor, heated steam free mirror & feature lighting make your time at Inganess Lodge more comfortable.

There are three bedrooms in Inganess lodge, 1 King size, 1 twin & 1 single that converts to a twin as required. All with built in wardrobes, wall mounted LCD tvs, CD clock radios & feature lighting.

Outside there is a large garden, a well lit furnished patio area, drying green and spacious store ideal for bikes, fishing equipment & drying wet walking coats etc.

OPEN ALL YEAR. Arrival time from 3pm. Checkout by 10am.
