    Inverglen is a Victorian villa with many traditional features as well as modern comforts. Situated in a quiet residential area, yet only 5 minutes walk from Inverness city centre. All rooms en-suite and free WiFi.

    All rooms have ensuite facilities and there is free WiFi throughout the guest house. Private off-street parking is available to the rear of the property.

    Check-in is between 16:00 and 18:00 but we can arrange earlier or later check-in by prior arrangement.

    Inverglen Guest House has five bedrooms available; 2 King Size Doubles, 1 standard Double, 1 Twin Room and a Superking/Triple Room . All bedrooms are en-suite with toilet, wash hand basin and powerful shower facilities.

    All the rooms have a flat screen digital TV, clock radio, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

    We have a comfortable guest lounge for you to relax in during your stay, with an extensive library of books, CDs and DVDs for you to enjoy.

    Being so close to the city centre, the range of shops, restaurants and pubs are easily visited, while leaving your car in our private car park. The railway and bus station are only five minutes walk away or a short taxi ride. Raigmore Hospital, Eden Court Theatre and walks along the River Ness are all easily accessible.

    Inverness is a wonderful centre for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands offering a huge variety of scenery and attractions. With scheduled flights from London (Gatwick & Luton airports), Amsterdam, Belfast City, Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester, getting to Inverness has never been easier, whether for a weekend break or a full Highland holiday.

    Road Directions

    FROM SOUTH (A9)

    Leave A9 at Junction marked Aberdeen (A96) and take first exit at the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the second exit and follow the dual carriageway on to Millburn Road. Immediately after Chieftain Hotel, turn left on to Victoria Drive (signposted for Youth Hostel). Proceed uphill to T junction then turn right on to Crown Drive and first left into Abertarff Road.

    FROM NORTH (A9)

    Leave A9 at Junction marked Aberdeen (A96) and take third exit on the roundabout below the A9. Continue as per instructions from South.

    FROM EAST (A96)

    Follow signs for Inverness. After Nairn, at the fourth roundabout, take second road on left following dual carriageway onto Millburn Road, Inverness. Continue as per instructions from South.

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting There by Railway
    From Inverness Railway Station, turn left on to Academy Street towards Marks & Spencer. Turn right on to Hamilton Street (next to Marks & Spencer) and then turn left along Eastgate pedestrian precinct. Just before the end of the pedestrian precinct take the right hand fork up Stephens Brae. As you walk up the hill take the first left on to Crown Avenue and follow this to the end. Turn right on to Crown Circus. Abertarff Road is the first turning on the left.

    Getting there by Aeroplane
    From Inverness Airport, follow signs for Inverness. At the fourth roundabout, take the second road on the left following the dual carriageway on to Millburn Road, Inverness. After the Chieftain Hotel, turn left into Victoria Drive (signposted for Youth Hostel). Follow uphill to the T-junction then turn right on to Crown Drive and first left into Abertarff Road.

    Alternatively, you can take the regular bus service into Inverness City Centre, or there are taxis available for hire.
