Inverour Guest House is a beautiful 19th century house offering quality bed and breakfast. It is ideally placed in the center of Spean Bridge surrounded by stunning scenery; making it an ideal hideaway for those wishing for perhaps a romantic weekend away in the peace and tranquility that the Scottish Highalnds offer, we are srrounded by fantastic views of the Grey Corries, Aonach Mor and Ben Nevis.
When touring around the West Highlands with Fort William, Glencoe, and Glen Etive where parts of Skyfall were filmed to the south. Aviemore to the East. Isle of Skye to the West , along with Mallaig, and the quaint village of Plockton off to the West all these places are only a ninety minute drive, so we are in an excellent postion to stay a couple of nights if you wish.
Our accommodation for this year has changed a little for those looking for something different we have a lovely 4 poster bedded room, that has a few little extras Like a mini fridge, cafetaire and ground coffee, and lots of space. But we have also catered for those small groups of up to 4 people can book and have private bathroom facilities, as well as our twin en-suite rooms and our normal double en-suite rooms, so hopefully we can offer something for everyone.
There are numerous activities to do within the area both organised and solo if you wish, there is a 9 hole golf course in the village, mountains galore for walking or climbing, forest trails to explore on foot or bike, Pony trekking, Quad Biking, Paint ball, white water rafting, and Shooting are all just a phone call away.
There are a number of distilleries just a short drive away.
If its relaxation you are looking for there are so many places to explore whether on foot, on a bike or in the car, we can advise you of the best places to go.
Start the day with one of our wonderful cooked breakfasts! You can choose from a full cooked Scottish, including Vegetarian option Scottish Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs or Continental.
There are a number of places to eat within the area including award winning restaurants to tickle your taste buds.
