    IONA self catering cottage offers fabulous accommodation for up to 6 people in the picturesque, tranquil island of Shapinsay, Orkney.

    The accommodation has three bedrooms each with en suite facilities, a large dining kitchen, utility/boot room, family bathroom with separate shower cubicle, lounge and spacious sun porch affording views across Elwick Bay to Kirkwall. Green energy is supplied by a wind turbine and by ground source heating. Local produce is available at the well-stocked village shop.
    Shapinsay is the nearest island to mainland Orkney and can be reached by a short ferry crossing. The MV Shapinsay runs regularly throughout the year.
