    Welcome to Jessie Mac's.

Jessie Mac's is a refurbished Victorian manse, with 7 bedrooms, offering a mix of self-catering hostel and bed & breakfast accommodation. We are a ten minute walk from Dunkeld and only 1 hour's drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, with great public transport links. It's the perfect base to discover the mountains, waters, rich culture and heritage of Big Tree Country.

Whether you're looking for an affordable hostel room to share with friends or prefer a private room with bed and breakfast, we can offer a warm welcome and a good night's rest. We have 3 private double rooms, 2 bunk rooms and 2 family rooms, all ensuite. Our ground floor double room has wheelchair access; we are LGBT friendly and well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement in some private rooms.

Birnam and neighbouring Dunkeld are stunning Victorian and 18th century villages, quietly tucked away in the hills and forests of Perthshire. At the end of a long day's walking, cycling, fishing or exploring, come home to dry out, take a relaxing shower and put your feet up. You'll find a cosy lounge with good wi-fi connections, lots of quiet spaces to curl up with a book or to email home. Our large dining area and generously equipped kitchen for guests should make you feel right at home.
