Overview
The extensive grounds in which the Castle is set are full of interest, with a delightful formal garden, estate trails and an adventure playground. Situated 3 miles south of Kenmay and 16 miles west of Aberdeen, makes this an ideal centre for touring. John Bell House is a beautiful, spacious property which overlooks a delightful courtyard. It is set amidst parkland with fields of grazing cows, and has a wonderful view of the castle. Named after the stonemason who built the castle, the property boasts many original features and contains some fine pieces of antique furniture. The apartment provides ideal accommodation for two families in two separate wings, each containing two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each wing also has its own turret and spiral stone staircase with stair gates provided to safeguard young children.The accommodation sleeps 7. Ground floor : dining room, cloakroom with WC, large fitted and fully equipped kitchen with Aga and separate utility room. First Floor : spacious sitting room, four bedrooms - two twin, one single and one double. Two bathrooms - one with shower and bath, one with bath only.
Short breaks available Friday - Monday and Monday - Friday during November to March. Full weeks run Saturday - Saturday.
