The 17th century King's Arms Hotel is believed to be one of the oldest establishments in Lockerbie and can boast Bonnie Prince Charlie, Sir Walter Scott and perhaps Robert Burns amongst its previous guests.
Each of the single, double, twin and family bedrooms in this family-run hotel is individually decorated and has an en suite shower and tea and coffee facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and there is also ample parking. After a day exploring the area, relax and sit down to a wide selection of dining options from bar meals to table d'hote and a la carte menus. The hotel also hosts photography courses and star-gazing breaks, at the nearby Dark Sky Park in the Galloway Forest.
Lockerbie provides plenty of opportunities to explore the region with many activities and attractions just a short distance from the hotel. For those who enjoy a spot of fishing there's the scenic Castle Loch at Lochmaben, while golfers will delight in the number of courses in the area catering for all expertise and budgets. Explore the coastline and countryside surrounding the area on foot or saddle up and enjoy an afternoon's horse riding.
