This striking historic building faces towards Balquhidder Glen, Loch Voil, the western hills and the setting sun.
Situated in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park near to Rob Roy's grave and halfway between Callander and Killin. The hotel is directly on the Rob Roy Way, which is one of Scotland's Great Trails.
Amidst spectacular mountain scenery, the area is renowned for climbing, walking, fishing, golf and watersports. We are also located on the National Route 7 cycle path. Bikes can be stored securely overnight and drying facilities are provided.
Only an hour or so from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Oban, Fort William and Loch Lomond.
The hotel accommodation consists of seven rooms, five doubles, one twin & one family room. All the bedrooms are en-suite, furnished in a homely cottage style and one has a four poster bed.
The popular Rob Roy Bar, with its open fire and traditional ambience, has a varied selection of malt whiskies and ales. Homemade, locally sourced food is served all day in the bar and in the dining room. A snack menu, takeaway food and packed lunches are also available.
There is free wi-fi in some public areas of the hotel.
