Kinkell House

Overview

Andrews, there are also many other courses close by. Kinkell is ideally situated for all the attractions of St.Andrews, coastal villages, gardens, historic houses, and amazing beaches. Sandy and Frippy will help you plan local and extended tours and assist with booking golf and restaurants. There is a tennis court and a croquet lawn in the informal garden. Two miles outside St Andrews, Kinkell offers Bed and Breakfast (B&B) accommodation in a family home on a farm. Sandy and Frippy provide a warm welcome, good food and informal hospitality.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are traditional, stylish and light. Sandy and Frippy both enjoy cooking and make good use of local produce. A delicious, full cooked breakfast is available every day and dinner can usually be arranged with advanced warning. Just let us know when you book if you have any particular dietary requirements.

Guests are welcome to relax in the drawing room, with its open fires, comfy sofas and grand piano. From the house, it is a short walk to the sea, and the wild coastal path. Kinkell is adjacent to the New St. Andrews Links "Castle" course, which opened in 2008 and the two Fairmont St. Andrews Courses. It is a short drive to the other St. Andrews courses, Kingsbarns and many more in the area.

For the non-golfers, in addition to the wonderful medieval town of St Andrews and its University, the area offers scenic coastal villages, historic houses and gardens and spectacular beaches. If you choose to eat out the area offers an exceptionally wide choice of places to eat and drink.

There is plenty more to do in the area (more information on our website) and Sandy and Frippy are happy to share their local knowledge, help you plan local and extended tours, and assist with booking golf and restaurants.

Dogs are welcome, with prior arrangement.

Smoking is not permitted.
