Overview
Each of the three homely en suite bedrooms has a colour TV and tea and coffee facilities. Depending on what you fancy, start the day with a hearty Scottish breakfast or a lighter option if you prefer. If required an earlier breakfast can also be arranged. There is ample private parking and secure storage for bicycles and other equipment is also provided.From Kirkcroft it is only a short walk to the popular wedding venues of Anvil Hall and the World Famous Blacksmiths Shop - the ancient building that made Gretna Green famous by marrying runaway couples who were fleeing to marry in the area.
This is an ideal base for those wanting to discover the region's fairways, with golf courses in Dumfries, Annan and Carlisle and for those who enjoy fishing, the rivers Esk and Annan are nearby.
If you fancy a day exploring, head west to the lovely Galloway coast and the historic town of Dumfries which enjoys links to Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns.
