Set amidst the rolling countryside of Kirkcudbright, Kirkland Mill is the perfect location for artists, anglers, families, golfers and those wishing to seek out the treasures of Dumfries & Galloway. A new and lovingly renovated property, the cottage retains much of its original charm yet is equipped to the highest standards. It has full central heating, a magnificent wood fire, a fully equipped contemporary kitchen and dining room and three spacious bedrooms, two of which are en suite, which sleep up to six guests in total. The lounge area looks onto a stunning garden and patio with a gas barbecue. Set in 2 acres of beautiful countryside with a private trout pond, the grounds are home to a range of wildlife.A free welcome pack of Scotland's finest produce awaits your arrival, courtesy of Galloway Smokehouse, but if you require additional provisions, the fishing port of Kirkcudbright is close-by. The quietness and seclusion at Kirkland Mill will suit those wishing to set their own pace, whether it is sitting in the garden enjoying the sunshine, exploring the rugged coastline, or getting active in Dalbeattie Forest or the Galloway Activity Centre. Ideally situated, there's a wealth of attractions to suit all interests within the surrounding area from art galleries and a wildlife park to magnificent golf courses including an excellent 18-hole course in Kirkcudbright itself.
