Nestled in a beautifully landscaped setting, Lidalia Caravan Club Site is also within easy strolling distance of the quaint village of Newcastleton, a Scottish Borders settlement in the heart of Liddesdale. The caravan site offers a peaceful, unspoilt haven for a great family holiday getaway. The site also boasts being number one for the famous 7 Stanes - a must for any mountain bike enthusiast.

Lidalia Caravan Club Site gives you the opportunity to relax in beautiful natural landscapes as well as experience the charms of Newcastleton. Once the scene of many bloody battles between the Scots and the English, the village is today best known for its traditional Scottish Music Festival which is held in late June/early July and also the Holm Show held on the last Saturday of August.  For walking and hiking enthusiasts, the caravan park offers the challenge of endless rolling hills and anglers will be delighted to while away their time fishing in the nearby rivers. The caravan park is also conveniently close to many interesting historical sites. There is Hermitage Castle where you can be transported back in time to when Mary Queen of Scots met her lover, the Earl of Bothwell.  Jedburgh House is where she is reputed to have stayed. Just across the border is Carlisle Castle and Hadrian's Wall where you can imagine the echo of Roman soldiers.
