The shore is also habitat to many seals, porpoises and otters, and there are several pebble beaches. Views from the accommodation overlook the hamlet of Ocraquoy, the old ruins of Fladdabister village and seawards towards Lerwick and Bressay. Superb base for exploring the rest of Shetland, situated close to the main bus route, and only 10 minutes drive to Shetland's Capital, Lerwick. Cunningsburgh Village is 5 minutes walk away with a shop, hall and pier.
