    Loch Breacleit View is the perfect base for couples/small families who want a relaxing 'away from it all' break. This popular accommodation has beautiful views over Loch Breacleit and is well located for exploring Bernera, Uig and the stunning West Coast of Lewis. Enjoy the coastal walks and visit Bernera's Iron age House, Norse Mill and Time and Tide Bell. Explore the coastline by boat, go fishing or explore outstanding scenery with rare wildlife. the vibrant port of Stornoway with it's restaurants, shops and lively nightlife is only a 35 minute drive and is accessible by local public transport.Loch Breacleit View has a lounge with open fire, solid fuel heating and electric storage heaters for added comfort. The kitchen is very well equipped and is modern. It has a washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave. There is one double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and beautiful views over Loch Breacleit. The sofa in the living room converts to a comfortable large double bed. Linen and towels are provided. The bathroom has a bath and electric shower. A travel cot, camp bed and high chair are available on request. Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement. the garden is fully enclosed.

    You could drive to Ullapool and bring your car across or leave your car and travel as a foot passenger as it may be more economical to hire a car for a few days.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- Pass the tourist information office on your left follow the road to the turn off signposted Tarbert A859. Continue on this road until Leurbost, turn right onto the A858 and follow the signs for Garynahine, then turn right onto the B8011 (signposted Uig and Bernera. Follow the road until the signpost for Bernera on your right, the B8059. Continue and cross the 'bridge across the Atlantic' until you come into Breaclete. (2 miles from the bridge). Pass the filling station and the post office, turn right and then first left into Heath Park. The house is number 6.

    Getting there by railway:- Train to Garve, bus to Ullapool then ferry to Stornoway.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Fly to Stornoway airport from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Aberdeen.

    Getting there by ferry:- Travel by ferry to Stornoway from Ullapool. The house is a 35 minute drive from Stornoway.
    Alternatively take the ferry from Uig, Skye to Tarbert in Harris. The property is 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from Harris.
