Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, the Loch Kinord Hotel makes an ideal base to explore, and relax in, this beautiful and historic area.

The hotel is located on the "Victorian Heritage Trail", only 10 miles from Balmoral Castle and close to many other castles on the famous "Castle Trail". Bird watching and nature walks start from the hotel and for those who are keen, fishing can be arranged on the River Dee or one of the many nearby lochs. After an exhilarating day on Royal Deeside, enjoy the comforts of the Loch Kinord, with good food in our Rosetted Restaurant, fine wines and malt whisky to sample in front of real coal fires. Getting there by railway:- From Aberdeen Railway Station head west on A93 Aberdeen-Perth Road. Dinnet is 5 miles past Aboyne and 5 miles before Ballater. The hotel is on the right, just past the crossroads in Dinnet village.
