The hotel is located on the "Victorian Heritage Trail", only 10 miles from Balmoral Castle and close to many other castles on the famous "Castle Trail". Bird watching and nature walks start from the hotel and for those who are keen, fishing can be arranged on the River Dee or one of the many nearby lochs.
