Loch Lomond Lodge

Welcome to Loch Lomond Lodge.

Loch Lomond Lodge is a romantic, and very cosy (now with a log burning fire), detached lodge (sleeping up to six), located in Rowardennan and set in private grounds on the edge of the Loch. Rowardennan is at the North end of the road that follows the east coast of Loch Lomond and is 6 miles North of Balmaha.

This is the quiet side of the loch allowing visitors to avoid the through traffic and tourist coaches that frequent some of the other areas of the National Park. The only through traffic are walkers on their route along the West Highland Way! The property is privately owned, and when free, used by the owner's family who enjoy using the Loch for water sports. It is a home from home.

A private and secluded shallow beach is a stones throw away as is the private jetty. Moorings are available for those who wish to bring their own craft. The area is a perfect spot for other pursuits such as walking, nature watching, fishing, golf and biking. Whatever your interests you will find this the perfect place to relax. Rowardennan Hotel is 2 minutes walk away.

Here you can enjoy good honest food at reasonable prices or simply relax in one of the bars with log burning fires. Further a field there are numerous other Restaurants and watering holes. The Queen Elizabeth forest and the foot of Ben Lomond are just behind the lodge. The accommodation comprises: Living room with settees and easy chairs, dining area with pine table and chairs, fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms and separate bathroom. Master bedroom with en-suite shower and WC, one double and one with two bunk beds. Patio doors open onto a large west facing decked area. Gas BBQ, Freezer and washing machine. Well behaved pets welcome. Late availabilty and short breaks available upon request.
