Beautiful highland estate in a historic designed landscape with self catering cottages and lodges, fishing and tennis.
Please note: The price displayed here is the lowest price available over our 6 different property types.
The grounds of Loch Monzievaird are a large part (40 acres) of the important designed landscape of Ochtertyre made famous by Robbie Burns and protected by Historic Scotland.
Walking : Just across the road from our entrance is a small track that connects into a huge local path network. We are two miles from Crieff, hidden away in a quiet location perfect for either using as a base from which to discover the highlands or to venture to the east or west coast on days out.
Golf : There is a fantastic choice of golf courses. Gleneagles is just fifteen minutes away. 20 other courses are within 25 minutes drive.
Fishing: Bank fishing for Trout & Salmon on the river Earn is very close by. Fishing by boat is available on Loch Monzievaird for wild brown trout. Salmon fishing can be arranged on various local rivers.
Wildlife: Our grounds are full of wildlife, there are otters in the Loch and there have been up to sixty varieties of birds seen here including kingfishers, ospreys and eagles. Early morning walkers can see roe deer and red deer at certain times of the year.
We have an all-weather Tennis court with a ball-machine facility, a small children's play area and there are extensive green areas for play, burns in which to paddle and net small trout, and a disc golf course hidden in the oak trees. Dogs are welcome, if well behaved, at an extra charge. There are lots of good walks. Cycles can be hired from several local locations, and there is riding, sailing, stalking and clay pigeon shooting available close by.
23 Lodges all four star sleeping up to 8 persons, sensitively located, plus our listed Gamekeepers cottage situated at our entrance with great facilities for up to six, including sauna, kennels, and full utility room.
