and is the perfect place for activity or relaxation in the Highlands of Scotland.
The Backpackers Hostel is located in the village of Lewiston just a few minutes walk from Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, a perfect location for activity or relaxation. Horse riding, fishing on the Loch and mountain biking can all be arranged locally.
Loch Ness Backpackers has grown from what was once an 18th century farm cottage and barns.

It is a clean, cosy and friendly place to stay while travelling by Loch Ness or the Great Glen Way.

We have two separate lounges and a warm open fire greets you on cold nights after a day out walking.

Our Highland Backpacking Hostel has grown from what was once an 18th century farm cottage and barns.

The house has been extended to form the main area of the Hostel with Reception, Lounges, Dining Room, Kitchen and Toilets/Showers on the ground floor, and two Dormitories and one Double Room in the upstairs area.
The Hostel has a converted barn area consisting of four Dormitories, Toilets/Showers and Kitchen/Dining area all on ground level.

Loch Ness Backpacker's Lodge is within easy walking distance of: Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, three pubs, restaurants, a supermarket, a fish & chip shop, post office, bank, gift shops and bus stops.
