Located in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Lochgoilhead sits at the head of Loch Goil, a fjord type sea loch. 1 hour from the Erskine Bridge and Glasgow Airport. The village is accessed from the Rest-and-be-Thankful pass via a 6 mile single track road. This is a special place, surrounded by hills, with superb loch views, as well as a wide range of accommodation, leisure activities and entertainment. The Lochgoilhead Hotel is an original coaching inn in the heart of the village. Five bedrooms, four twin and 1 single room, all with en-suite showers/WC. Rooms have colour TV and tea/coffee making. Three rooms have loch views. Optional dinner or bar meal in the restaurant. Lounge bar. FREE golf and swimming included for hotel guests at the nearby Drimsynie Leisure Centre 1-mile.
