Lochside Follies are situated approximately halfway between Salen and Kilchoan on the southside of the Ardnamurchan peninsula that is some 40 miles west of Fort William.
Our new Folly is spacious, airy, totally unique and just for 2 people. Tucked into the hillside on an elevated position it has stunning views overlooking Loch Sunart and the Morvern hills beyond. The video on our own website speaks for its self...take a look.
The Ruin, down close to the shore of the loch, is a lovingly rebuilt croft house sleeping 2, whilst much of the charm and character of the original building has been retained the underfloor heating and woodburning stove give a cosy ambience all year round. The Byre, 7 metres from the Ruin provides sleeping accommodation for 2 youngsters if required together with the utility room.
The Tower is a small self contained "winglet" on the west of the our home sleeping 2 in a unique circular bedroom with access onto a balcony that has views over Loch Sunart. The bathroom part way down the winding stair has a romantic deep tub bath. The cosy beamed sitting room has a wood burning stove. The dining area has a hand made ash table and the small but perfectly formed kitchen is extremely well equipped. The Tower has cosy underfloor heating and internet connection via Wi-Fi.
Our visitors are welcome to use the snooker and table tennis games room where there is also and internet connection for the visitors staying in the Ruin.
We have a small gym, two easy to ride bicycles and our visitors are welcome to follow the informal paths that wind around our 80 acres of land which climb up to give stunning views over towards the sound of Mull or down to beach combe in the shallows of Loch Sunart.
