Logan Cottage Bed And Breakfast

Overview

Our cosy cottage retains much of it's original character and will provide a wonderful home from home experience whilst giving you the freedom to explore the heart of the highlands from it's central location. A warm Highland welcome awaits you at Logan cottage. Our cosy cottage retains much of it's original character and will provide a wonderful home from home experience whilst giving you the freedom to explore the heart of the highlands from it's central location.

Fluffy dressing gowns, soft pillows, fresh towels, Egyptian cotton sheets, electric blanket/cool air fan, hairdryer, fridge, hospitality tray, complimentary toiletries, TV/DVD, Wi-Fi. These are just some of the things housed within the beautifully decorated rooms in our 137 year old sandstone cottage.

After a wonderful night's sleep you can then look forward to a hearty bowl of Scottish porridge followed by a fantastic full Scottish breakfast made with locally sourced produce. If you are in the mood for something a little lighter we offer cereal, breakfast rolls, yogurt and fresh fruit. All of this washed down with fresh tea, coffee and fruit juices.

Logan cottage, whist sitting on a pretty and tranquil street, is ideally situated in the centre of the captivating, historic City of Inverness. With the Castle, Museum and City centre just a stroll away in one direction and the peaceful and scenic walks along the canal banks and 'island's' area in the other you will have pleasure finding ways to fill your days. The cottage is also within easy walking distance of Eden court theatre which offers superb live shows as well as housing a cinema and restaurant. St Andrews' Cathedral is next door to the theatre and is open to the public year round. All of which are situated along the sunny banks of the River Ness.

Behind the cottage lies the local swimming pool and sport's centre, floral gardens, ice rink, various parks and rugby pitches. You can hop on a boat along the banks of the canal and cruise gently to Urquhart Castle where you can stop off for a bite to eat and the opportunity to take some photographs of the famous" Loch Ness". Keep your eyes out for Nessie! Torvean golf course, just a few minutes away will surely satisfy those with an appetite for a round of golf and the many excellent restaurants and public houses in the area will leave you spoiled for choice when choosing your 19th hole!

The regular bus services which leave just minutes from the cottage will take you further afield where you can spend time catching up with the history of the highlands at Culloden battlefield or Clava Cairns (Britain's oldest bronze age cemetery).

Nancy and Richard look forward to welcoming you to their home and helping to make your stay a wonderfully memorable one.
