Road Directions
Once on the Island carry on the A87 to Sligachan Hotel, turn onto the A863 drive approx 5.5 miles to the sign for Carbost on the B8009, take a left turn onto this road. Carry on through the village of Carbost and past the Talisker Distillery, up the hill to a sharp right-hand bend. Here you will see the signpost for Portnalong. Carry on this road for approx 0.5 miles past a recycling point and a disused road-side quarry. Lon Ban is the first house on the left and the only one with a garage. There is a sign at the entrance. If you are going to use a satellite navigation system and want to come all the way by road ensure that you are on the A87 via Kyle-of-LochalshPublic Transport Directions
