St Andrews is a must-visit destination: from harbouring Royal romance, to its vast beach, Cathedral, aquarium, Stanza Poetry Festival and boutiques. Oh, and did we mention golf? The Macdonald Rusacks Hotel is within a sand wedge of the 18th hole of the famous Old Course. Stylishly remodelled on a golfing theme, Macdonald Rusacks Hotel offers luxurious accommodation occupied by some of the great names in the game's history. Our award-winning Rocca Bar& Grill serves up fine food and drink against a backdrop of the world's oldest golf course. Magnificent views out to sea take in St Andrews' West Sands, immortalised in the Oscar winning Chariots of Fire. Unquestionably Scotland's greatest golfing hotel, we even have a dedicated Golf Concierge so you won't miss a thing.
We're serious about food at Macdonald Hotels so all you have to do is enjoy it. Always innovating, we joined with award-winning restaurateur Adrian Pieraccini to create a new restaurant and bar concept within Macdonald Rusacks Hotel, St Andrews. We received 2 AA Rosettes for our efforts. Rocca Bar & Grill has superlative panoramic views over the 18th hole towards West Sands beach. While The One Under is a welcoming 19th hole within putting distance of the world famous Old Course. Enjoy lunch or afternoon tea in The One Under conservatory and visit our new Jubilee Gallery of golfing greats by artist Joseph Austin.
Rocca Bar & Grill is a sleek, comfortable Italian restaurant in the classic grill style offering an a la carte menu which offers the best Scottish and local produce in a sublime marriage of robust and romantic. A simple meat and fish grill menu is sure to satisfy. Sip at the Louis Roedeuer champagne bar with breathtaking views. Baby Rocca can accommodate up to 34 in a private space.
St Andrews first gastro pub, The One Under is passionate about delivering quality. Using the finest, freshest locally-sourced produce the menu offers delicious, satisfying food at good value. Enough space to show the best sporting fixtures, with golf as a must, as it nestles next to the 18th green and offers superb locker room facilities on site.
