Overview

Tulloch and Lawnacroy are very spacious with spectacular views of the Loch and the surrounding hills. Shian, a renovated cottage with lots of character, has a wonderful location in private woodland with stunning waterfalls in the two adjacent burns. Lawers is a small unspoilt village close to Killin, Kenmore and Aberfeldy. Good food and drink available within walking distance. Ample parking. Owners live at Machuim Farm. Loch Tay is a superb location for a fantastic holiday. Breath taking countryside, majestic mountains, imposing castles and an abundance of wildlife, willl make your stay unforgettable. Our home, Machuim Farm (pronounced "Ma'weem") is a working farm at the foot of Ben Lawers mountain overlooking Loch Tay.

Lots to do and see in the Loch Tay area, from boating trips to rafting to hillwalks and cycling. Or just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery! Great places to eat out - walking distance to Ben Lawers Hotel in Lawers, with its cosy bar and dining room. Or, try The Old Flax Mill just beyond Killin, The Boathouse at Milton Morenish, or The Waterfront at Kenmore. Great shopping at The Watermill and Spirit of Wood in Aberfeldy, The Courtyard at Kenmore and House of Menzies in Weem.

The area provides a wealth of outdoor activities and leisure facilities, including walking, golf, fishing, boating and riding. There are many places of historical and archeological interest to visit, a wide range of cultural experiences and excellent local cuisine to enjoy. An ideal base for touring, less than 2 hours drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and the widely differing East and West coasts.
