Half a mile outside of the village of Chirnside and situated near the top of a hill, is our 19th century stone built Lodge with its panoramic views over open countryside towards the coast.
Awaiting you is a warm welcome from your hosts Dave and Chris who provide excellent home cooking using fresh local produce. Our Lodge with its spacious ensuite rooms provides a perfect place for you to relax and unwind.
We are ideally situated being only eight miles from Eyemouth and the historic walled town of Berwick Upon Tweed. Nearby the old Scottish Burgh of Duns hosts the wedding venues of Wedderburn and Duns Castles, along with the museum dedicated to the famous 1960's racing driver Jim Clark. The historic house of Paxton with its fine collection of Chippendale furniture and the Edwardian house of Manderston are just ten minutes away by car.
Our particular part of the east coast on both sides of the border is well known for bird watching, walking, diving, fishing, surfing and unspoilt beaches. There are several excellent golf courses close by and the A1 just five miles away, offers the opportunity to explore places such as Holy Island, the Farne Islands or the city of Edinburgh.
As well as a varied breakfast menu, we offer evening meals on request. With guide books, tourist leaflets, maps and local knowledge we can help you to get the most out of your stay. We want you to leave feeling you have stayed somewhere special.
