Welcome to Mansefield House Bed and Breakfast, a recently restored former manse in the rolling countryside of Dumfries and Galloway now offering bed and breakfast all year round. There are luxury steam shower cabinets in the en-suite bedrooms with complimentary aromatherapy oils. We also offer a family suite consisting of a double room, twin room and shower room. All rooms have a television with DVD, bath robes, toiletries and a hospitality tray. A relaxing guest lounge with open fires is available for our customers use which is where we serve home made refreshments on arrival, or, weather permitting in the garden overlooking the Galloway Hills and Solway Firth. Whithorn is the birthplace of Christianity in Scotland with many local places of interest including Whithorn Priory, St Ninians Cave and Chapel where many pilgrims come to visit each year. Many outdoor pursuits can be pursued including fishing, golf, sailing and shooting. Whithorn is also close to the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park for those stargazers amongst you. Wigtown with its now famour bookshops and annual festival is ten minutes drive away.
We offer a full scottish breakfast, or lighter options if required and can provide an evening meal with prior notice.
We aim to send you on your way refreshed and revitalised for the next leg of your journey.
