Sleeping 4, this cosy cottage has 2 double bedrooms, a modern luxury shower room with large shower cubicle, The open plan kitchen/living area has patio doors opening onto a furnished deck with breathtaking views of Loch Tay. There is a large garden and parking for 2 cars. The cottage is furnished to a high standard with leather sofas, oak flooring, new beds, large wall mounted plasma screen TV with Free Sat. The well equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave. In addition there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Gas central heating and double glazing ensure you will always be warm and cosy.
The cottage is located on the edge of a working farm that offers various activities including horse riding. Access to the cottage is via a farm track and 4x4 vehicles are recommended in the winter months. Use of a private jetty and loch access are available by prior arrangement. This charming little cottage sits in an elevated position with stunning views of Loch Tay and the surrounding hills. Sitting on the edge of the small village of Fearnan, just 3 miles from Kenmore, Maple Cottage is surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery Scotland has to offer.

The beautiful conservation village of Fortingall, with its thatched cottages and award winning hotel and restaurant is just 2 miles to the north and here you will also find the beginning of Glen Lyon, known as the longest and lovliest glen in Scotland. This whole area is a walkers paradise and there are a number of footpaths from the cottage for guests to explore. Aberfeldy has a newly opened community campus which provides excellent leisure facilities including an indoor pool and gym. There are numerous tourist attractions in the vacinity including the Scottish Crannog Centre on Loch Tay, Dewars World of Whisky in Aberfeldy, Steam Cruises on Loch Tay and many more.

There are several golf courses within a 30 minute drive, horse riding in Kenmore, cycle hire, fishing, water sports...the list is endless. You will find a great selection of shops, cafes and galleries in Kenmore and Aberfeldy. At the eastern end of Loch Tay, in Kenmore, there is a lovely beach which is ideal for picnics and paddling and swimming for the kids. For those wanting to explore further afield, Edinburgh is only 1.5 hours away and Glasgow 2 hours. The small city of Perth is just 45 mintues away and offers all the usual high street shops, cinema, museums, galleries, restaurants and cafes.
