Marina View

Overview

Marina View is quality self-catering accommodation nestling on the edge of Nairn harbour. This location is ideal for families and is close to the beach, overlooking the harbour. Ideally situated, it is only minutes walk from the town, which boasts a family centre with its growing cafe culture, beautiful scenery, indoor swimming pool and nightly entertainment close to hand. Golf, fishing, shooting, windsurfing, walking, riding and dolphin spotting are some of the activities which can be enjoyed in the area.

Nairn is a small market town which boasts two Championship Golf Courses, one of which hosted the 1999 Walker Cup. It is ideally situated for both summer and winter holidays with white sandy beaches and pleasant riverside walks.

The waters of the Moray Firth are home to one of only two dolpin colonies in the UK. These fascinating and playful creatures regularly visit Nairn and can be seen from several vantage points on the shore. A definite 'Must See' for all the family, but remember to be patient, these are wild, not performing dolphins.

There is plenty of scope for sport in Nairn. As well as golf, there is a sports centre,a swimming pool, a riding centre, water sports, cricket, bowls and much more. The promenade along the seafront provides a pleasant walk with information boards that point out places of interest along the way. To find out more about Nairn's fishing history you could join the guided walks. The burgh history of Nairn is simply displayed on attractive plaques around the main town.
