The flat is ideal for a single person or couple, with exceptional views over Knock Bay and the Sound of Sleat towards Knoydart, Loch Hourn, Mallaig and the mountains of Ben Sgriol and Ladhar Bheinn in Knoydart.
Sleat is well known for its beautiful landscape, lovely coastline and incredible scenery and our property is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the sandy beach of Knock Bay. Dolphins visit the bay as do herons, otters, ducks and a variety of other birds.
Sleat is an ideal base for the nature lover, photographer, angler, bird watcher, walker and hill climber as it abounds with nature. Amongst all this it is superbly placed for easy access to a wealth of historical sites and places of interest.
An award winning Hotel/Restaurant is a 10 minute walk away and Lady Claire MacDonald's renowned restaurant and shop at Kinloch Lodge is a 15 minute drive.
Our one bedroom self-contained flat could be the place to stay that is a little bit different. Our home has recently been extended to provide a separately accessed, comfortable flat to enhance your stay in Sleat. This new first floor flat provides up-to-date comfort, security and a feeling of well-being needed to help you make the most of your holiday. There is off-road parking, privacy, and a nicely maintained private garden to relax in, with lawns, plenty of paths, seating, seasonal shrubs and flowers and the all important midge machine, as well as your own private decking balcony leading onto the garden. Staying at Mavis Bank in Sleat places you ideally as a base for your adventures and that's because getting to your daily outing of choice is a scenic adventure in itself. There is plenty to see and do for the outdoor adventurer, nature lover, photographer, angler, bird watcher or those who just wish to take it easy, so no matter what you want to get out of your holiday, you should find it here.
