Milton Eonan Cottage

Self Catering

Milton Eonan, Bridge Of Balgie, Glenlyon, Perthshire, PH15 2PT

Come and unwind in Glenlyon, Scotland's longest and most beautiful glen. Milton Eonan is a family run, working croft, on the site of a ruined 7th Century watermill. We keep rare breed animals and grow some of our own food.

Secluded, peaceful, private - the self-contained cottage is the perfect Highland hideaway. Choose Bed and Breakfast or to self-cater.
Deep in the beautiful hills of Glenlyon, the cottage has everything you could possibly wish for - a large double bedroom; a shower/bath, free tea and coffee in a fully equipped kitchen; a book-lined sitting room with a wood-burning stove. Cot/highchair on request, sofabed in the sitting room. Wi-fi and telephone available on request. Television with Freeview. Maps, puzzles and board games.

We'll serve you dinner and breakfast in a sunny conservatory dining room, located in our cottage next door. Enjoy a beautiful view of the hills while you eat fresh, imaginative food, much of it straight from our vegetable garden. If you're cycling or walking, we can supply a healthy packed lunch. Alternatively you could take the cottage on a self-catering basis.

This is a great place to explore the great outdoors - make sure you bring wellies and a waterproof. Discover the nearby waterfall or stroll along the riverbank to see local wildlife, including wild red deer, herons and hares. The cottage is situated close to walks through beech, birch and pine woodland.

For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. Scenic, loch-side drives to Killin, Kenmore and Aberfeldy.

Stunning, unspoilt scenery in every direction makes for perfect photography. With no mobiles, light-pollution, passing cars or noisy neighbours, you'll have the most relaxing holiday imaginable.
