Moorfield House

Overview

Moorfield House Hotel, a stunning Victorian Guest House / Bed and Breakfast offering luxurious accommodation, is located in Boat of Garten in the Highlands of Scotland, the home of the Boat of Garten Golf Course, dubbed "the Gleneagles of the North" and the RSPB Osprey Centre.

We offer 4 Star (STB) accommodation where informality and a warm welcome await you.

Moorfield House is fully non smoking and licensed. Dinner is available on request (24hrs notice please).

Our elegant decor and wonderful tartans help create relaxed and peaceful surroundings, coupled with excellent food and an exeptional level of service, all combine to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Situated in a peaceful village at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, our central location affords you the perfect base with easy access to all that the Highlands has to offer. All rooms are en suite and can be let as single rooms.  Prices are from £39.00 per person per night.

At Moorfield House we take great pride in the quality of our cuisine, everything is prepared in house and we endeavour to use local produce and suppliers wherever possible. Our local award winning Butchers make their own Haggis, Black pudding and sausages and also supply our meats; Scottish Beef, Chicken etc. Our fish is sourced from Portsoy on the Moray coast.
Our eggs and lamb are supplied locally by The Glebe Farm.  We have a good selection of Speyside single malt whiskies and have endeavoured to find a superb range of wines that offer good value for money, without compromising on quality.
