It enjoys panoramic views to the North & West over the Atlantic Ocean and North Minch. This traditional stone-built house built in 1932, is situated in lands traditionally known to be home to the Morrisons of Ness. Inclusive of Sky TV, Sports, Movies, BT Sport and WiFi the accommodation comprises, on the ground floor, front & rear entrance porches, hallway, sitting room, day room and a fitted kitchen with large dining area suitable for 8 persons. Upstairs consists of two double bedrooms and a kingsize bedroom off a common landing.

    Having been recently refurbished the property is double glazed and heated by oil fired central heating. Extensive gardens surround the property making this an ideal family holiday home. Located nearby are open sandy beaches, sports centre, swimming pool, local history centre, music centre and local shops all within 5 mins by car from MorrisonView.

    Road Directions

    Several options exist for travelling to Lewis by car:-
    1. Take the Inverness to Ullapool road and board MV Isle of Lewis ferry operated by Caledonian MacBraye directly to Stornoway (estimate 2 hours 45 mins crossing time) and follow directions as above. The driving time from Stornoway Ferry terminal to Morrison View takes approx 35 min.
    2. Drive through the Isle of Skye and take ferry from Uig to Tarbert on MV Hebrides again operated Caledonian MacBraye directly to Tarbert on Isle of Harris (1 hour 45 min crossing time). Follow A859 to Stornoway, turn left at the roundabout and follow A857 as above. Morrison View is approx 1 hour 20 mins from Tarbert

    Getting There by Railway
    For Ullapool the nearest train station is Inverness. For Uig on the Isle of Skye the train services terminates at Kyle of Lochalsh. Both Ullapool & Uig ferry terminals are linked by a bus service.

    Fly into Stornoway Airport from Aberdeen via Eastern Airways or Inverness, Glasgow & Edinburgh via FlyBe.
