    This highlands-escape is the home of Grant and Jan MacLachlan, where you will find a warm welcome to their home in the Scottish Highlands where you can relax in the friendly atmosphere. Since moving to our home, set in beautiful surroundings, it has given us such joy and pleasure that we would like to share some of its delights with our guests. Netherfield has two spacious first floor letting rooms, with a guest's relaxation area set between the bedrooms which is a great space to unwind, research your next days' activities, play a board game or  just indulge in a good book. There is also an inside downstairs drying room at the rear of the house, secure storage for cycles, outdoor equipment etc is available in the garage. It is the perfect location from which to explore mountains, lochs, rivers, and marvel at some of the finest scenery and wildlife in Scotland. It is an ideal place to escape the stresses of everyday life, yet within easy reach of Scotland's central belt. Dulnain Bridge is 3 miles from Grantown-on-Spey and 11 miles from Aviemore, providing the ideal base away from the bustle of town, with the added bonus of only a 5 minute walk to 2 resturants. Netherfield is in easy reach of all the main outdoor activities, Rothiemurcus and Craggan Outdoors, where you can participate in climbing, golf, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, water sports, archery, or take yourself walking, pony trekking, winter skiing, bird watching and visit the Osprey Centre. Also popular outings are to experience the malt whisky trail, touring the beautiful sceenary, and visiting Scottish castles and gardens. You can be as energetic as you want or just unwind..........The choice is yours.

    Netherfield is strictly a non-smoking home

    Cromdale Room - With spectacular views towards the Braes of Cromdale King size double bed, 2 matching single beds,

    Cromdale is therefore able to be used as a double or twin room, or can accommodate up to 4 persons. It has a spacious en-suite with a large shower and dispensers providing body/hair shampoo and hand soap, heated wall towel rail and electric shaving point.

    Cairngorm Room Has as it suggests views towards the Cairngorms, it has a Single bed and a new King size bed. Cairngorm has an en-suite with a large shower, dispensers providing body/hair shampoo and hand soap, a heated wall towel rail and electric shaver point.

    Prices from £35 per person per when sharing

     Children under 2 £10 (Sleeping in a cot)

    2 - 15 yrs £20- £30 per night, 

    Single occupancy £60.

    Your choice of breakfast will be taken the evening before and is served in the guest dining room at 8.30 am.

    Road Directions

    Travelling from the South:
    Take the A9 north from Perth to Inverness. Turn off the A9 onto the A95 signpost to Carrbridge (North of Aviemore). Follow Grantown-on-Spey signs and after 9.5 miles turn left at the sign for Dulnain Bridge, at The Riverside Restaurant (before the bridge), turn left signposted Skye of Curr. Netherfield is 500 yds on the right, just past the hotel.

    Travelling from the North:
    Take the A9 south from Inverness towards Perth. Turn off left at the A938 signpost to Carrbridge. At the Carrbridge Hotel take left fork signposted to Grantown-on-Spey; after approx 6 miles you enter Dulnain Bridge, turn right over the bridge and right again signposted Skye of Curr. Netherfield is 500 yds on the right, just past the hotel.

    From the nearest information centre:- From Grantown Tourist Information Centre take the A95 and follow the signs for Dulnain Bridge. When you enter Dulnain Bridge, follow signs for Skye of Curr and Netherfield is 500 yds on the right, just past the hotel.

    From Aviemore Tourist Information Centre follow the A95 Grantown-on-Spey sign and after 9.5 miles turn left at the sign for Dulnain Bridge, at The Riverside Restaurant (before the bridge), turn left signposted Skye of Curr. Netherfield is 500 yds on the right, just past the hotel.
