Road Directions

To M8 West - after junction 15 (Cathedral) and 16 (City Centre) take the right hand side lane, exit at junction 17 (Charing Cross) Follow the road up and take turning to left at lights onto Sauchiehall Street, then take third set of traffic lights, turn right then right again onto Bath Street , guest house is on the right after next set of lights.

To M8 East - leave M8 at junction 19, follow road round, at lights turn left, then right onto West George Street, then left onto Douglas Street, turn left onto Bath Street and Newton Hotel is the the right hand side after first set of lights.

Public Transport Directions

Getting there by railway:- Glasgow Queen Street and Central Stations are each a 10 - 15 minute walk from Newton Hotel or £2.00 - £3.00 in a taxi. Charing Cross Low Level Station is a two minute walk from Newton Guest House. The nearest underground stations are Buchanan Street and Cowcaddens.

Getting there by aeroplane:- Glasgow International Airport - 8 miles from Glasgow city centre, a regular bus service runs from the terminal to Buchanan Bus Station ( £3.00 - £4.00 single, £5.00 - £6.00 return/person) operates every 10 - 15 minutes. Taxis also available from Terminal (approximately £15.00, carrying up to 4 people.)
