Overview

If you are visiting the Cowal area then North Lodge is ideally situated in in one of Scotlands loveliest areas (Argyll Forest park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park) whilst being close to Glasgow airport and main road and rail connections. It is a very comfortable apartment with a large living room/dining area with welcoming woodburning stove, a kitchen, three bedrooms and two showerroom/WCs with one having a large corner bath. North Lodge provides luxury accommodation with one of the finest views available in the Cowal area. Situated in the Argyll Forest Park and the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the Lodge is situated in one of the loveliest locations in the area. Relax on the covered, sheltered, sunny terrace overlooking the beautiful tidal River Echaig. Watch kingfishers dart along the river, watch the herons patiently fish, and listen to the rivers gentle ebb and flow. Listen out for woodpeckers and owls in the evenings and watch the fish jump. Watch red squirrels and birds feeding inches from the kitchen window and enjoy the beautiful woodland walks and Benmore Gardens all within 5 minutes of your front door. The Lodge is equipped with a welcoming woodburning stove that provides a warm highland welcome after a hard day walking through some of Scotlands loveliest scenery. There is room for up to 7 people to comfortably sleep in North Lodge with the addition of a folding bed. There are three bedrooms, two twin rooms and a large double. There is a large corner bath/WC and shower when a relaxing hot shower or bath is required to soothe aching and tired limbs while there is also a smaller showerroom/WC. Dunoon with its restaraunts and shops is a short and pleasant bus ride, 5 miles away while the lovely Coylet Inn, Pier Hotel and Whistlefield Inns are all within ten minutes drive. Long or short breaks are available all year round. Dont hesitate to call as special deals are always available.
