    Northlands is a Victorian residence, set within the conservation area of the town, it is surrounded by mature gardens with mountain views and has its own bubbling brook flowing through the grounds.   

    A family run bed and breakfast where the aim is to create a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, with good food and deluxe accommodation.

    Recently refurbished, the 3 en-suite bedrooms (one king size double room and two super king sized double rooms, easily converted to twins) offer classical Victorian design complimented by all the comforts and luxury expected of a modern bed and breakfast.  Each room is individually decorated and furnished with its own unique character and views and all share common features such flat screen TV with CD/DVD, radio alarm clocks with i-pod docking station and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

    The elegant dining room overlooks the south facing garden and gets the morning sun - a delightful place in which to take your time, relax and enjoy your breakfast.     Road Directions

    Coming from the South

    From the duel carriageway take the slip road to the left signposted ‘Pitlochry.’
    Follow the one way slip road which sweeps to the left then curls to the right under the duel carriage way and merges into a two way carriage way.
    Follow this road for several hundred yards to the 30mph limit which is the outskirts of Pitlochry.
    Carry straight on past the BP petrol station on the left and Bells Blair Athol Distillery on the right.
    Ahead you will see the railway bridge crossing above the road under which proceed where the road sweeps to the left with a slight rise.  
    Carry straight on past the Acarsaid Hotel, then the Police Station on the right.
    Ahead there is a pedestrian crossing,  then the War Memorial on the left, carry straight on up the main street about 500 yds where Fishers Hotel is on the left and prepare to turn right onto West Moulin Road (A924) signposted ‘Moulin and Kirkmichael.’
    Travel 150 yds up this road, passing the CO-OP on the right and just after prepare to turn sharp left onto Strathview Terrace.
    Strathview Terrace is an upward incline. On the right you will see a modern bungalow then immediately after, again on the right is the front garden of Northlands where there is positioned a ‘car sized’ grey sentinel stone.
    Take the 1st right into Lettoch Road and Northlands is the 1st opening on the right immediately after the wooden electricity pole.
    There is ample space to drive in and manoeuvre in the car park


    Public Transport Directions

    By Train: Pitlochry station is on the East Coast main line. There are regular trains arriving from the south and north on a daily basis. The Intercity train (no change in Edinburgh) connecting Inverness with London stops in Pitlochry once a day.
    Northlands Bed and Breakfast is only a few hundred yards from Pitlochry railway station.However, if you advise us in advance we may be able to collect you upon arrival.

    By Plane: National and international flights arrive daily into Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee and Inverness. Car hire is available at all airports and train stations are easily reached by taxi.

    By Ferry: Nearest terminal from Europe is Rosyth while from Ireland it is Cairnryan.By Train: Pitlochry station is on the East Coast main line.
