    Full Scottish or Continental breakfast is served in the magnificent dining room whose pine floors have been recently uncovered and restored, and which features a 10' long Victorian oak dining table dating back to the 1880's.

    Oaklands is an Edwardian house built 1910 and stituated in Laurieston, 5 minutes from Junction 5 off M9 motorway. Convenient for Stirling, Edinburgh, Glasgow, only 20 minutes from Edinburgh airport. 2 miles from centre of Falkirk with train station offering frequent services to Edinburgh and Glasgow both 20 minutes away.

    Getting there by railway:- From Falkirk high station down High Station road, right then left still on High Street Station Road, Cow Wynd, Arnot Street, Corporation Street, to roundabout, right on Callender Road, A803 all way toLaurieston through Laurieston still on A803 0.5 mile on left, Oaklands, 32 Polmont Road, (2 miles from station).

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport A8 to Stirling onto M9 to Stirling, leave M9 at junction 5 take sign to Falkirk past Klondyke Garden Nurseries on left take sign left to Polmont, reach junction and take right Laurieston, we are half a mile down this road on right, number 32 Polmont Road, (approximately 16 miles from airport, 5 minutes off M9). Stirling is 12 miles further west on M9, i.e, off junction 9.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Stranraer/Belfast follow A77 north Ayr 6 miles ahead, Cairryan/Laren terminal Girvan/Turnberry, Crossraquel Abbey/Maybole/Minishant, by pass Ayr on a77 follow sign for Kilmarnock, Glasgow M77, M8on M8 follow Stirling, branch left onto M80 Stirling to Kincardine Bridge continue M80 junction with M876 go forward motorway to M9 Edinburgh, leave M9 at junction 5, sign right Bo'ness to main roundabout, round to Falkirk, Laurieston, past garden nurseries, left Polmont to top, turn right.
