Old Bishopton

Overview

This charming self-catering property sleeps up to four people with two light and well furnished bedrooms and a comfortable and homely lounge. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area offers plenty of space for cooking and entertaining and includes a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Pets are welcome at Old Bishopton and have room to run around in the enclosed garden and on the miles of scenic walks surrounding the cottage.

Historic Whithorn, where St Ninian founded the first Christian church in Scotland, is just 1 mile away, while the cottage is also only 3 miles from the tiny harbour of the Isle of Whitehorn. Why not take in an array of yachts and fishing vessels, enjoy an afternoon's sailing and make a point of sampling delicious local produce? Wigtown, Scotland's National Book Town is also close-by and it is a literary heaven for fans of the written word with dozens of bookshops to explore.
