The Old Rectory Cottage is a spacious and comfortably furnished traditional holiday cottage which is very attractive and well equipped, and provides one of the nicest Scottish holiday cottages for rent in the picturesque highland location of Grantown-on-Spey, Scotland.

The cottage is ideally situated on a large seclude site in the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, and is within an easy 5 minute stroll of the High Street, and it's shopping centre and tourist amenities. Grant Park is only a 1 minute walk from the cottage, and has a children's recreation play area, a nature pond with it's abundance of wildlife, and from where access is gained to the many forest and woodland walks which surround Grantown. Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, Grantown-on-Spey is a leading tourist resort offering a selection of traditional shops, a supermarket, leisure facilities and there is no shortage of places to eat and drink locally with a good selection of hotels, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops.

Sporting facilities include 18 hole golf course, excellent Salmon and Trout fishing in the River Spey, 8 tennis courts, bowling green, leisure centre, children's recreation parks, nature trails and forest walks.

Old Rectory Cottage is a 3-4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage which is all on ground floor level, and can comfortably sleep 6 adults with additional sofa beds being available in the family room / 4th bedroom for any additional guests. The cottage has all modern furnishings in quality leather and oak finish, and has an oil fired central heating and hot water system, with all windows fully double glazed.

The cottage is ideally situated on a large seclude site in the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, and is within an easy 5 minute stroll of the High Street, and it's shopping centre and tourist amenities. Grant Park is only 1 minute walk from the cottage, and is a children's recreation park from where access is gained to the many forest and woodland walks which surround Grantown.

The cottage has large mainly lawn gardens to the front, rear and side of the property, which are fully fenced making it safe for children to play, and adults to sit in the quiet secluded gardens.

Living Accommodation:
T.V. Lounge has a fire place with feature gas fire, 3 seat and two 2 seat leather sofas, coffee tables, and a great 42 inch plasma t.v. screen, and DVD player. Adjoining is the cosy Sitting Room is ideal for reading, playing board games or listening to music, and is furnished with a 3 seat and 2 seat sofas and two comfortable arm chairs, mini hi-fi unit, book case, side board, and coffee tables. Kitchen / Dinning Room is fully equipped with professional gas / electric combination cooking range, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The dinning area has a dinning table which can sit up to 10 people when fully extended, a dresser and a fridge freezer. From the dinning area there is access to the cloak room toilet with wash hand basin, rear entrance door, which has a disabled ramp access to the patio area and car parking.

Bedroom Accommodation:
Bedroom 1, has a double bed, 2 bed side cabinets, wardrobe, 2 sets of drawer units, and ride in en-suite wet room, incorporating mains shower, low level toilet and wash hand basin, suitable for wheel chair access. Bedroom 2, has two single beds, bed side cabinet, wardrobe, drawer units and en-suite shower room, with electric shower, toilet, and wash hand basin. Bedroom 3, has two single beds, fitted wardrobes, and 2 sets of drawer units. Family Room / Bedroom 4, has one double sofa bed, one single chair bed, one single put up z-bed, dresser, drawer units, t.v. and DVD player.

has bath with electric shower over, vanity unit and toilet.
