Overview
Our rural location will provide you with a pleasant and relaxing stay though Perth is 5 minutes away and it is only about 1 hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
For breakfast there is a choice of a cooked or a continental breakfast which is normally served between 8 o'clock and 9.30 but if you would like to get an early start we can arrange that and perhaps make up a packed lunch for you.
There are plenty of things to do and see locally which could include a visit to Scone Palace, home of the Earls of Mansfied, or maybe you could take a day out at the races if there is a meeting which fits in with your stay.
It only takes a few minutes to drive to some easy walks from Ordie View, perhaps Kinnoull Hill for some big views of Perth and the hills to the north.
In Perth itself, there is the Concert Hall or Perth Theatre and no shortage of places to eat or just sit and have a coffee. There is always, of course, the salmon fishing on the Tay, plenty of golf courses and some good hill walking.
A few miles to the East is Dundee, famous for Jute, Jam and Journalism or westbound takes you through the small and pretty country towns of Crieff and Comrie to Loch Earn which is 10.5km from end to end.
