A warm welcome to our private 18th Century Georgian townhouse in the leafy, picturesque 'lanes conservation area' of central Lerwick. Perfectly located, just a minutes walk into town and with beautiful harbour views from the en-suite bedrooms.

Ortolan House dates from the 1780's & used to be the Old Sheriff's House. One of the oldest properties in Lerwick, it has fine original Georgian internal features as well as a large secluded, sheltered garden. It is now a beautifully restored family home. The two en-suite B&B bedrooms are on the second floor & are tastefully decorated with fine harbour view. Owners Rebecca & Phil offer a large, fresh, continental style, locally sourced breakfast and are proud members of a Taste of Shetland. The family are birdwatchers, naturalists & photographers and run Shetland Seabird Tours - The No.1 Noss Boat in Lerwick Harbour.
