Orton Estate is located on the eastern side of Scotland, midway between Inverness and Aberdeen.
Ten miles from the sea, it is situated in idyllic rural surroundings beside the River Spey, one of Scotland's most famous salmon fishing rivers. Each property is serviced by our housekeeping team. You can also make use of our full board or part board catering services, both of which operate from July through September. Or if you prefer, you can be self-catering. Each property was once a farm house or other farm building and they are all well equipped for modern living. We are close to several of Scotland's famous golf courses on which we can usually arrange for our guests to play while staying with us. We are within easy reach of the seaside, Grampian Mountains as well as the beautiful unspoilt countryside between them. Apart from exploring the hills and mountains by car or on foot, nearby places of interest include some of Scotland's famous castles and some of its best known malt whisky distilleries. Orton Estate is host to 10 comfortable Country properties, all located near the picturesque River Spey in the heart of Moray. The largest can sleep up to 12 guests, while the remainder sleep between 2 and 11 guests. The 2 St Mary's properties or the 2 Bruntlands properties can be rented together, allowing parties of up to 16-18 to be catered for. Every dietary requirement can be accommodated by our chefs who specialise in preparing locally produced food for our fully catered guests. The properties also have their own liquor licenses. Alternatively you may prefer to be independent, in which case any of the properties can be rented on self-catering basis. Part catering is also available and guests can enjoy the flexibility of catering for themselves and utilise our central catering facility, where food is prepared centrally and delivered to properties on request. Our aim is to provide the personal touch, which will ensure that your visit is as enjoyable as possible.
